What's Up Wednesday

Alright so today is my What’s Up Wednesday, where I tell you my juicy, lol, life details.
So what’s going on? I guess a whole lot. In the last few months, mainly this year I have evolved into a different person. I am no longer the shy, quiet girl who keeps to herself. I was when I started this blog but no longer am, so unfortunately the time that I had to myself that I needed to fill with blogging is no longer there. Therefore, I no longer have the time I want and need to blog. I now have a few friends, and a boyfriend (yay!) and balancing them all out is kind of hard to do. But since I love them all, and I love you (blogging) I have to figure it out.

In a way, for a while, I kind of gave up on blogging. I started paying attention to numbers, we’ve all been there, and I really feel that I am not succeeding as much as I should be. But I just have to remind myself that mainly this is for me, and if someone reads it that’s great, if it helps someone, that’s even better, but if not that’s okay because this is my online journal, my blog, and I write it for me, and I hope, a person in need. I will grow and my blog will grow in time as it is meant to be, not when I want it to.

So with that being said, I am sure I will find the time to write about my troubles, my inspiration to others and one day I will have 100+ followers, for now this is just practice, I will figure it all out in due time, like I have figured everything else out, like finding a boyfriend, someone that I can trust and I feel safe with. And I will make it through these next couple of weeks in this hard therapy that has helped me reach out to others, and grow as a human being so much. This Thanksgiving I am grateful for my therapist for helping me see the good, on the outside, and the inside. Thanks Megan.

Also, Happy Birthday and Deathday to my still born sister Jackie who would be 30 today, I love you mom, hang in there.

And thank you for reading. Please comment, subscribe or follow and let me know what’s up with you.

10 items for $10 dollars

Hey thanks for stopping by. I haven't been around very much lately but I'm trying to get back in the groove. Kickin it off with a Thrift Store Haul.

10 items for $10 bucks got to be my favorite sale in the world. Granted at times you can find a can of corn for $.69 cents or so, but mostly 10 for $10 is well worth it. Don’t you agree?

First a funny story, well I don’t know how funny but let’s say an ignorant confession.
10 for $10 came out about the time I had my first apartment, hence my first real shopping experience. I went to the store with 100.00 to buy my 10 for $10 dollar items. Little did I know that you didn’t have to buy the same item 10 times. So for about 3 weeks I did this and my cupboards were stocked for of 10 of every condiment and 10 of every can good. Things I barely ate, like ketchup and baked beans and mayo. I couldn’t stand very much of these items but there they were. And this may not have been bad except for the fact I had no real food. You know how I found out you didn’t have to have 10 of the same, one day I accidentally only bought 9. Haha. Cashier why did you never inform me and help me out a little???

Now onto my THRIFT STORE HAUL!!! Yeah I know that got you interested. I go to the thrift at least once or twice a months and I give myself a $10 dollar limit. And today was my LUCKY day! Thanks Labor Day and end of summer. It’s easy to get 10 items for $10 bucks at the thrift store but this weekend all CLOTHES were .99 cents. All of them, summer, fall, winter, and spring. With fall around the corner that’s where I focused. I told myself like I always do, 3 pants, 3 undershirt, and 3 over shirts. Just what I needed! The best part is that when I tried them on they all fit. That never happens. So here look at what I’ll be stylin in this season, bought with my $10.00 at The Clothing Store. OH, by the way…everything is name brand!!!

Sorry I'm not good at taking pics alone.

Again thanks for stopping by, don't forget to follow and let me know you did so I can follow back. Blessings to my lovies.

Sunday Social

Good Day Everyone!!!
It's Jesyka and today is Sunday and I'm here linking up with Ashley and Neely for:
Sunday Social
Grab a button and Link-up too!

1. What is something you've always wanted to do but are afraid of?
I have always wanted to water ski. Looks like so much fun but I'm honestly afraid of being that far out in deep water. :-(

2. Where do you see yourself in five years?
In 5 years, anywhere better than here. Likely to be starting a new career, but who knows where life will lead me. I tend to go with the flow of life's forces.

3. What are you looking forward to before the end of 2013?
Being skinny again. I'm where I wanted to be, early so now for the next 4 months I want to drop 10 more pounds.

4. What are your hopes for your blog?
I hope that I will gain more friends and write better posts.

5. Do you always see yourself living in your current town/city?
Actually I am in the midst of planning a move sometime soon, hopefully by the end of the year. And then I plan on making that town my official home for life. Although if a great opportunity arose, I might just jump on it.

6. What is your morning routine?
Routine? What routine. That's something I need to get.
I wake up, get water, smoke (gross), make tea, take a  shower, get dressed, drink tea and check email, Facebook and Words with Friends and text my baby Good Morning, do make-up and go on about my day.

Thanks for reading more about me, link up so I can read about you! Have a lovely week.

5 for Five

Okay, well the Internet tech just left from fixing my Internet for the 2nd time, maybe this time will work. Either way it's working fine right now so I can do my 5 for Five even though it is already Tuesday. I did write them out already as I have been doing on the nifty weekly planner I made recently. See here.

FantasticallyAverage

Last week I chicken out on setting goals. That's not to say I didn't accomplish anything at all, I just didn't set anything in stone. But I'm back this week with a lot to do, lol. So here are my 5 goals for the week.

1.) Do a lot of typing. For the past 2 weeks my Internet has been horrible, they changed some equipment in the office today so I hope that works. I kept telling myself now was the time to type up a lot of poems and recipe notes out of my journal and some future posts while the Internet was pretty much out but the technician in me just would not allow it. I spent way  too much time trying to fix it myself before I even called to complain. SMH

2.) Finish organizing and saving documents to my external hard drive. Something horrible I realized last night: somehow I deleted all the files in my video folder. I'm going to do a recover today but going through the files from that is a pain in the butt. If it ain't one thing, it's another.

3.) Eat fruit everyday, no more than 2 servings of grains each day, and maybe 1 sweet snack for the week. I'm doing great at this and last week when I got weighed I was 7 lbs. lighter than the last time (app 5 wks). So YAY! go me!!!

4.) Exercise 3 times each, upper, lower and 3 walks totaling at least 1 mile each. (easy one, hopefully)

5.) Make some more Stress Relief and Pain Relief Oils. I've been out for awhile but I dug through my journals (see #1) and found the recipe. I can't wait to make it, needed it so much here lately.

YAY! That's my 5 for Five, what's yours? Go on over and link-up with Jessica and Jenn and leave me a comment with your link so I can read yours too.
Have a wonderful 4th of July and be safe.

Get Rid of Plant Mold

I have a lot of indoor plants, and not enough space or window sills. For some reason this winter to spring I got a major mold problem. When I started having trouble breathing I thought about it and started researching ways to get rid of it. I'm going to draft this and wait about a week before I actually post it. I totally have to make sure it works first, lol. So ladies step by step this here is how I got rid of my moldy soil.

The first thing I tried was to let the plant dry completely out. I realized the reason for my mold was over watering. I wasn't over watering all of them but of course different types of plants require different care. Anyway that was not working. Next, I removed the molded soil by scooping out the top layer. And then I topped of each plant with new soil and sprinkled cinnamon on top.

Boy did that smell good for awhile. And also it worked for about 2 weeks. I do believe that the cinnamon helped. Also during all of this I have had little flags and rubber animals and a few memento's decorating my plants. I left them out until 2 days ago. When I placed them back into the plants and watered them now today I have a little mold on half of them. I took care of 2 of them. Made a horrible mess but got it cleaned up immediately. This is what I decided to try, and what this blog is about. In a month if they are better I will post this.

First I went ahead and got rid of all the soil, just in case. Then I cleaned the pots and water holders. I went outside and found some rocks. I placed a layer of rock on the bottom of the pot and then replanted with new  organic soil. After filling, I watered the dry soil. When I was completely finished I went around to all my beautiful lovely plants and sprinkled cinnamon. I guess I'll find out if it works. I may have to do all of my plants which is fine with me. A really awesome thing that happened is that on one of my plants I had a round pot, it was a layered design. I really thought that it was one pot with a layered rim, but when I transported everything I found out it wasn't layered at all, it was 5 pots stacked upon each other. Totally awesome stuff.

Now it is a month or two later. I have no mold on my plants. I replanted every plant, layered the bottom with rocks, sprinkled Cinnamon in all of them, left all decorations out of them and watered each of them with 1/2 cup of water about every 2 weeks. Now they are mold free. Finally.

Sunday Social (Wk 52)

Hey what's up? This is Jesyka and I'm doing another week at Sunday Social with Ashley and Neely. Go on over to there site and join the Link-up this week. If you've been thinking about it and haven't this is the week to get started because they have a huge give-away.
Sunday Social
I don't know how they come up with these questions because sometimes they don't pertain to me at all, but I'm gonna give it my best shot, as always. LOL
1. What is your favorite Social Media outlet?

As much as I have tried to get into anything but Facebook, I haven't done so well. I'm not sure why, maybe I'm just not so comfortable with change. Plus I have very few friends on everything else and it seems they are all spread out. The common ground is still Facebook. I hardly ever see drama on mine so so far it's still fun to mess with when I am bored.

I also totally love Pinterest but there isn't a lot of chatting on there, just sharing pics you are interested in. I do it mainly for myself, to save things I like. It's way better than bookmarking and copy and paste. I do have all my accounts connected so if you see a post on Twitter that's where it came from, FB or Pinterest or My Blog.

2. Do you subscribe to any daily news reads? If so which ones?
This sounds very awful but no I do not, neither do I check any of them on the web. On Pulse, which I check whenever I give myself blog reading time I am subscribed to some Psycology and Technology News and if the title sounds interesting I will read it. But as for Fox, CNN and whoever else I have PTSD and I don't follow it.
3. What is your favorite magazine to have by the pool?
My favorite magazine is Glamour but I usually just read a book.
4. What is your favorite summertime song?
Now see this doesn't apply to me. I like all my music, all the time. I've never thought of it as seasonal music. I do listen to more hip-hop/pop in the summer though as it helps boost those party time dance moves. I guess Katy Perry is exceptional in the summer.
5. What is the best summer concert you've been to?
Rock on the Range, in Columbus, OH, Skatopia, in Rutland, OH, X-Fest, in Huntington, WV and Hookahville, in Lawrence, OH. I haven't been to any of them for a while so hopefully I will get to at least one of them this year, it's already to late for 2 of them though. :(

Insanity and OCD

OMG.Like I am seriously too fucking obsessed with stuff. I mean shit, I wanted to print some stuff at midnight and here I am at 4 am still trying to figure out how to fix my printer. I used to be good at this kinda thing but this is totally beyond me. I cannot figure it out. But it's crazy because I know any sane person would have said o'well, I'll have someone look at it later, as in tomorrow or a few days and went to bed completely fine. However I have to deal with this insanity every stickin day. I am so sick of it, my boyfriends sick of it, the kids are suffering from it also, I'm sure. And for some reason I get like this everyday. What the hell is going on. I cannot start a project with out finishing it and 2 or 3 others. I know many people would be thrilled and see that as an asset but I don't. I can't. 4 hours of doing absolutely nothing in the middle of the night just to print stuff FOR THE HELL OF IT is fucking insane. Someone please help. And for the next few days I think I'll keep a journal of sorts of what I do and how much time I put into it. Just to recap yesterday, I made a whole operating business website. In one day! And I did everything else I normally do. Today I am going to blog about turning your negative qualities into positive assets to see if somehow I can turn this around.
